Adding languages

Translate a concept into other languages, review each text, and check that it fits every size.

[Short video: pending recording]
Before you start, you need
  • A finished banner in its base language.
  • Credits: 1 credit per language you add, with any model and no matter how many sizes the concept has.
  • Ideally, someone who speaks the language to review the translation.
How long it takes: A few minutes per language, depending on how much you review.See this feature in the product
  1. Open the "Languages" tab

In the campaign, go to "Languages". You will see a table with one row per text in the banner (headline, subtitle, button…) and one column per language. The first one is the base language.

  2. Add the language

Press "+ Language" and choose the language you want to add. A new column appears with empty texts and the label "Missing N".

  3. Translate the missing texts

Press "Translate missing with AI". It costs 1 credit per language (it covers all the sizes). The translated texts are marked with the "AI" label. If the translation cannot be completed, no credits are charged and you can write the texts by hand.

  4. Review each text

Each text shows a character counter (for example 12/30) that turns red if you go over the maximum. Fix what is needed and press "Mark as reviewed": the label changes from "AI" to "Reviewed".

  5. Check the preview by language and size

The banner is shown on one side. Choose the language and the size with the buttons at the top and check that nothing is cut off. German or Finnish text is usually much longer than Spanish text.

  6. Change images by language (optional)

If an image changes depending on the country, under "Image for …" choose another one from your library for that language.

Keep handy

An AI translation is a draft. Ask someone who speaks the language to review it before publishing, especially the headline and the button. The "Reviewed" label helps you know which texts a person has already checked.
