Export

Exporting a .zip

Generate HTML5 packages per piece, per size, or all together, with optional MP4, GIF, and PNG/JPG image and a check report.

Export turns your pieces into .zip packages with the banner’s HTML5, ready to upload to your ad server (the platform where ads are published). If you ask for it, the same .zip also includes each piece as video (MP4 (H.264) and animated GIF) or as an image (PNG or JPG of the final frame), at the banner size.

Options

OptionWhat it does
One .zip per piece
Each size and language in its own .zip.
One .zip per size
Languages go in folders inside each size.
Single package with everything
One .zip with a folder per piece.

In the campaign’s Export tab, select the sizes and languages, choose the package option, enter the click tag destination URL (optional), decide whether to turn on Validate weight, and if you want video or image, check MP4, GIF, PNG, and/or JPG under Video and image (not included by default; with PNG or JPG, pick 1× or 2×). Click Generate package.

Videos and images go at the root of the .zip, named <creative>_<size>_<language>.mp4, .gif, .png, or .jpg, regardless of the package option. The GIF is adjusted to the platform’s maximum weight: if it does not fit, it is reduced and the report says so. Images work similarly: the JPG comes out at quality 85 and lowers it if needed to fit the platform’s still-image weight, and the PNG warns in the report if it goes over.

The report

When it finishes you will see a report with the clickTag, the weight of each package, the texts missing in some language, the texts that overflow, and the pieces that could not be compiled. Packages with warnings can still be downloaded.

Downloading

Exports are available for 7 days, with their MP4, GIF, and PNG/JPG image if you included them. After that they expire and you need to generate a new one from the campaign.

Note. Direct delivery to Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360, and Google Ads is not yet available. For now you download the .zip and upload it to the ad server.
