Your first banner, step by step

Describe your campaign and generate an animated concept in all the sizes and languages you choose, in six steps.

[Short video: pending recording]
Before you start, you need
  • A BannerMotion account with credits (a concept costs from 10 credits with Sonnet 5.5, the default model, and goes up with the sizes and languages you choose).
  • A campaign idea: what you offer, the tone, and the button text.
  • The sizes you need. You can change them later.
How long it takes: Generation takes [TIME TO BE MEASURED]. Filling in the order depends on what you write.See this feature in the product
  1. Open "New banner"

In the menu of your workspace (your team's workspace), choose "New banner". It is the form where you put the order together, in six numbered steps.

  2. Describe your banner

In "1 · Describe your banner", write what you are promoting, the tone, the headline, and the button. For example: "Banner for the summer iced coffee promo. Fresh, youthful tone. Short headline, big button, and a photo of the cup on the right." The more concrete you are, the fewer corrections you will need.

  3. Choose the model (optional)

Optional step, for anyone who wants to fine-tune the result. In "2 · AI model" you can change the model. If you leave it alone, it stays on Sonnet 5.5, the default, which works for almost everything. Each option shows how many credits the concept you are building costs; with 1 size and 1 language it would be 5 credits with Haiku 5.5, 10 with Sonnet 5.5, 19 with Opus 5.5, and 48 with Fable 5.1. If you want to compare all four, read the advanced tutorial "Choosing the AI model".

  4. Starting point and style

In "3 · Starting point", choose "From scratch with AI" (you can also start from a template or duplicate a campaign). In "4 · Style", leave "Auto" or pick one from the list.

  5. Mark sizes and languages

In "5 · Sizes", 300×250, 728×90, 160×600, and 320×50 come checked; remove or add the ones you need. In "6 · Languages", choose the languages you want the text in. Everything is generated together: each concept comes out in every size and language you check; each size and each language after the first adds to the cost.

  6. Review the summary and generate

On the right, "Will generate" tells you how many pieces will come out (sizes × languages × concepts; a piece is one size in one language) and how many credits it costs. The cost is charged per concept and grows with its sizes and languages (with Sonnet 5.5: 8 + 1.5 × sizes + 0.5 × (languages − 1) credits). If you want to compare ideas, check "3 distinct concepts (3 variants)": that is 3 concepts, and all 3 are charged. Press "Generate · N credits". You will see the progress and, when it finishes, we take you to the studio. If the generation fails, the credits are refunded.
