Credits and top-ups
How credits are spent, when they expire, and how to top up.

Check your balance
In "Billing" you see your balance in large type, how much you have from your plan this month and how much from top-ups, and a bar with the month's usage by type of operation and model.

Every AI action spends credits; manual adjustments, approval, and export do not. Generating is charged per concept and depends on its sizes and languages (8 + 1.5 × sizes + 0.5 × (languages − 1) with Sonnet). Correcting with the chat costs 4 + 1 for every 4 sizes it touches, adding a size costs 3 per new size plus 1 for every 4 it already has, and translating costs 1 per language. With another model everything is multiplied (except translating). The table below sums up the costs with each model. Any operation with AI costs at least this many credits: Haiku 5.5: 1 · Sonnet 5.5: 5 · Opus 5.5: 9 · Fable 5.1: 21. Translating has no minimum.

Plan credits renew every month (on the 1st, UTC): what you do not use expires. Starter, for example, includes 300 per month: up to 30 1-size concepts (21 with 4 sizes) if you only generate with Sonnet 5.5, fewer if you also correct. Top-up credits last 12 months and are spent after the plan credits.

If an operation fails, the credit is refunded and the chat tells you ("Failed · N credits refunded").

When you have less than 20% of your balance left, the screen warns you in red. The "Movements" table lists every spend with its date, what it was, who did it, and the model, and you can download it as CSV.

There are packs of 100 credits for $12 and 500 credits for $50. They work for all four models. [PENDING: payments are not available yet; for now the top-up buttons appear disabled with "Payments coming soon".]
