Trafficking

The work of uploading creatives to the ad server, setting them up, and assigning them to the right campaigns and placements.

In detail

Trafficking (sometimes called “implementation” or “ad ops”) is the step between having the banner and it going live: uploading the files, checking that they display and that the click works, assigning each piece to its campaign, dates, and placements, and setting the rotation rules.

Good trafficking starts earlier, with a well-prepared package: the correct size in each file, a working clickTag, and a weight within the limit save rounds of corrections with the team that publishes.

Example

Upload 12 creatives (4 sizes × 3 languages), assign each one to its placement, and test it in the platform’s preview.
