Client approval

The client’s sign-off on a piece before it goes live.

In detail

Client approval is the moment when whoever commissioned the piece reviews it, comments on it, and accepts it (or requests changes). Doing it through a link where the animated banner is seen at each size avoids sending screenshots by email and losing track of comments.

It is worth recording who approved which version and when, especially in regulated industries. What has been approved should not change without going through approval again.

Example

You send a review link that expires in 14 days; the client comments on and approves each size.
