Banner weight

How much space the banner takes up (the .zip with all its files); platforms set a maximum.

In detail

Weight is measured on the .zip you upload, not on the uncompressed folder. Each ad server sets its limit and may distinguish between initial load and total load (see polite load). Exceeding the limit usually means the creative is rejected.

What adds weight: images (especially at double resolution), fonts, video, and third-party libraries. BannerMotion measures each creative’s weight against a configurable limit; that value comes from the generic preset and does not replace your platform’s actual limit.
